About
Michelle Dismont-Frazzoni and V. Stephen Raynor, individually, have successfully spent their careers mastering their skills as photographers. From hotel concessions, portrait and commercial studios, colour and black & white labs, photojournalism, advertising, resort and corporate photography. They have teamed up to share the knowledge acquired over the years and are offering informal and hands-on photo workshops. Their venture is called “Camera Talk“. Designed for beginners, amateurs and for the ‘I think I want to go pro’ person. Workshops will cover technical aspects of both the DSLR camera, and phone camera. Workshop will focus on composition, lighting, (natural and artificial), and a range of topics such as landscape, outdoor/studio portraiture and still life to mention a few. Each session is sure to increase your understanding of photography in general and show how to effectively capture your subject matter.
Workshops will be held at various venues. Participants can express interest by email in the Contact section. There is no commitment to attend or prepay, however, a notice of intent to attend would be appreciated. The fee will be required before the commencement of the workshop at the venue.
We also offer private group and individual instruction.
NOTE: A tripod or some form of camera stabilisation is advised for those workshops where low light situations exist. It’s not a bad idea to use a tripod in any light. It allows for better composition and setting camera adjustments. DSLR cameras would be an asset but are optional, as phone camera have many of the same abilities and adjustments.
Dates and times will be posted in the Workshop section.
